Therapies Used

There are a wide range of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP and solution-focused counselling techniques that have proven to be useful in helping people make positive changes to their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

I don't believe that there is just one model that can help everyone. Each person is an individual and therefore your therapy should be individual and tailored towards your specific needs, using different techniques and approaches to find what is best for you.

Most sessions (excluding those purely seeking reiki) involve hypnotherapy as it is my belief that this is the therapy that has the most profound effect, although elements of solution-focused counselling, psychotherapy and NLP are also carried out. Sometimes I'll incorporate EMDR or suggest that some reiki might be beneficial. The choice as to whether you'd like to include those therapies is yours.

I'll work directly with you to help retrain your mind so that you become more flexible in your thinking and stop you engaging in unwanted automated thinking, feeling and behaviour.

Reiki is useful for issues affecting you physically, mentally and emotionally and is a more spiritual therapy, which helps to rebalance, relax and heal you from within.

Past life regression therapy can be used irrespective of whether or not you believe in past lives or have a belief that you can access them through the use of hypnotherapy. It is an incredibly useful tool for helping individuals who are unsure as to where their ailments or thoughts, feelings and responses originate from and aiding them in moving on in this life. Others are more interested in past life regression purely out of curiosity and no therapy is actually required.

Many of us today lead such busy lives that it seems we are always looking for ways to reduce stress and tiredness and increase our energy levels. We all need rest and relaxation. Some suffer from aches and pains or have feelings of anxiety, frustration or fears. We can lack confidence, purpose or direction in life or perhaps simply feel that 'something' is missing. If you can relate to any of these, then the therapies I offer, either individually or combined, can help you re-balance yourself so that you feel positive and stronger at all levels, promoting wellbeing and contentment on a mental, physical and emotional level.
