Insurance, Code of Ethics and Guarantees

I have professional and public liability insurance and adhere to the National Code of Ethics for Hypnotherapists.

Guarantees are considered irresponsible and disallowed by many of the top hypnotherapy associations, including the GHR with whom I am registered. As a result, I offer no guarantee with any type of therapeutic intervention. Each works differently with different people and at different times. I do, however, assure you that I will work with you to the best of my abilities, applying my years of experience with the aim of achieving the result you are seeking.

My background was initially in science and engineering, however, over the years I became more and more interested in the power of our minds; how our thoughts and feelings can affect not only our state of mind, but also our overall physical health and consequently our quality of life.

Following a personal experience of hypno-psychotherapy in which a long-term health issue was resolved, I realised how powerful and effective these therapies can be and wanted to be able to help others in a similar way.

I therefore studied and trained in hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and NLP and subsequently qualified as a hypno-psychotherapist a couple of years later. I have subsequently undertaken extensive further professional training as part of my Continued Professional Development, including EMDR.

I then qualified in Past Life Regression therapy since this area fascinates me in so many ways. Whether or not you believe in past lives, whether they be real or imagined, the experience can be highly beneficial at a therapeutic level just as it can be intriguing for someone who is purely interested out of curiosity.

Over the years, I have experienced many 'alternative' therapies, treatments and complementary medicines. My belief is that many of these can have a significant impact at an emotional, physical and spiritual level. Reiki is one of those in particular that I connected with at a much deeper level. I read lots around the subject before studying for Level 1 Reiki, at which point I was hooked! Having worked with this powerful energy for a while and seen the enormous benefits friends and family were experiencing, I went on to gain the Reiki Level 2 Practitioner qualification and then the next and final level in Reiki, that of Reiki Master.

Using the combination of therapies I practice, I get immense satisfaction in helping my clients move on in their lives; whether it be by changing the things they want to change, feeling or responding differently or simply enabling them to take charge of their lives. Whilst the therapies are no means guaranteed as a 100% ‘cure-all’, the difference I can make to so many peoples' lives keeps me motivated, enthusiastic and inspired to help others, like yourself, change your life.
